Astros minor leaguer placed on leave after assault arrest (Yahoo Sports)

The Astros say minor league outfielder Danry Vasquez has been placed on administrative leave following his arrest on suspicion of assault family violence. A Corpus Christi police spokesman said Tuesday that the 22-year-old was arrested on a warrant Aug. 4. Vasquez has not played for the Hooks since July 31 and is free on $10,000 bond for the misdemeanor charge.
