Altherr homers, drives in 5 to lead Phillies past Giants (Yahoo Sports)

Aaron Altherr had a homer and five RBIs, Maikel Franco homered and went 4 for 4 and the Philadelphia Phillies used a five-run eighth inning to beat the San Francisco Giants 13-8 in a wild game Tuesday night. Altherr broke a tie with a two-run single in the eighth, Cameron Rupp hit a three-run homer and Cesar Hernandez added four hits for the Phillies.
