Twins put pitchers Santana, Gibson on disabled list (Yahoo Sports)

The Minnesota Twins' rotation will be without two of its top starters as the team placed right-handers Ervin Santana and Kyle Gibson on the 15-day disabled list prior to Tuesday night's game against the Cleveland Indians. Santana had been considered day to day after he was scratched from his last start with a sore back. Santana is listed with a lower back strain.
