Chiefs star pass rusher Justin Houston could miss much or all of next season after having surgery to repair an ACL in his knee. The Chiefs said Tuesday, March 22, 2016, that the ligament was not fully torn, but after a meeting with orthopedist Dr. James Andrews, the consensus was surgery was the best option for his long-term health. Pro Bowl pass rusher Justin Houston could miss the upcoming season for the Kansas City Chiefs after having surgery to repair the ACL in his left knee that bothered him in the playoffs. Houston hurt his knee in a game against Buffalo last November, and at the time it was diagnosed as a hyperextension. Andrews realized that the ligament was not functioning properly.
