Cowboys' Romo active as he moves into backup role (Yahoo Sports)

Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback Dak Prescott (4) and backup quarterback Tony Romo stand on the field during an NFL football team practice in Frisco, Texas, Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016. Prescott frequently said the Dallas Cowboys were still Romo's team even when the rookie had early success. But now the 36-year-old has declared himself the backup, leaving no doubt it's Prescott's team. (AP Photo/LM Otero)

Tony Romo is active for the first time in almost a year, and he's the Dallas Cowboys' backup quarterback for the first time in 10 years.
