Heather Cox to be NBC's Thursday night sideline reporter (Yahoo Sports)

Heather Cox will be the sideline reporter on NBC's new ''Thursday Night Football'' package. Cox is joining NBC Sports Group after 22 years at ESPN, where she was the sideline reporter for ABC's ''Saturday Night Football'' and the college football title games. Cox has worked with NBC before at the last three Summer Olympics, where she was the reporter for beach volleyball.
