Mets OF Lagares expected to miss 6 weeks with sprained thumb (Yahoo Sports)

Mets outfielder Juan Lagares is expected to miss six weeks because of a sprained left thumb that needs surgery. New York put the former Gold Glove winner on the 15-day disabled list before playing Colorado on Friday night. Outfielder Brandon Nimmo was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas.
