The Yankees' Jacoby Ellsbury reached base on catcher's interference for the ninth time this season, the most in more than two decades. Ellsbury grounded to shortstop in the first inning Tuesday night, but his swing knocked off the glove of Baltimore catcher Caleb Joseph, who was charged with an error.
