Dodgers place outfielder Thompson on 15-day disabled list (Yahoo Sports)

The Los Angeles Dodgers placed outfielder Trayce Thompson on the 15-day disabled list because of lower back irritation Saturday before their game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Thompson was hitting .225 with 13 home runs and 32 runs batted in in 80 games for the Dodgers. Walters is hitting .298 with 10 home runs and 47 RBI this season in the minors.
