Carlos Correa had a two-out, two-run double then scored from second base on a wild pitch during Houston's five-run fifth inning, and the Astros opened the second half with a 7-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners on Friday night. Correa and his teammates picked up where they left off before the All-Star break, winning for the sixth time in eight games and their fifth straight over the Mariners. Correa's two-out double off Seattle starter James Paxton (2-4) gave the Astros a 5-0 lead and he scampered home from second moments later when Paxton's third wild pitch of the inning ricocheted off catcher Chris Iannetta over to the third base dugout.
