Blue Jays slugger Edwin Encarnacion and manager John Gibbons have been ejected in the first inning of Friday's game against the Cleveland Indians. Encarnacion was ejected by home plate umpire Vic Carapazza after arguing a called third strike to end the first, an inning in which all three Blue Jays batters were called out on strikes. Josh Donaldson, Toronto's second batter, argued with Carapazza after being called out on a pitch at the letters from Indians right-hander Josh Tomlin.
