The Texas Rangers will remain in Arlington through 2054 and work with the city on building a $1 billion retractable-roof stadium that would open in 2021. Rangers owner Ray Davis joined Arlington Mayor Jeff Williams in Friday's announcement. Davis says the Rangers, marking 45 years in Arlington, expect the new stadium to open in five years.
