Reyes banned thru May 31 under MLB domestic violence policy (Yahoo Sports)

Colorado Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes has accepted a suspension without pay through May 31 under Major League Baseball's domestic violence policy. MLB announced the ban Friday, and Reyes has agreed not to appeal. A person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press that Reyes will lose $6,251,366 of his $22 million salary.
