Fernandez strikes out 11 as Marlins defeat Nationals 5-1 (Yahoo Sports)

Jose Fernandez struck out 11 over seven innings and drove in two runs during a three-run sixth to help the Miami Marlins defeat the Washington Nationals 5-1 on Sunday. Giancarlo Stanton hit his 11th home run as Miami salvaged a four-game split. J.T. Realmuto singled three times and scored twice for the Marlins, who took a 2-0 lead on an error by Nationals second baseman Stephen Drew.
