Tigers demote Collins, activate Francisco Rodriguez (Yahoo Sports)

DETROIT (AP) -- The Tigers have optioned outfielder Tyler Collins to Triple-A Toledo, although manager Brad Ausmus said the move was not related to the obscene gesture Collins directed at booing home fans Monday.
