Rockies OF Blackmon goes on 15-day DL with turf toe (Yahoo Sports)

The Colorado Rockies put outfielder Charlie Blackmon on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with turf toe on his left foot. The Rockies recalled catcher Dustin Garneau from Triple-A Albuquerque to fill Blackmon's roster spot. Blackmon was hurt diving back into second base in the eighth inning of Colorado's 10-6 win over San Francisco on Wednesday.
