Atlanta Braves outfielder Hector Olivera's paid administrative leave has been extended through May 3 in an agreement by Major League Baseball and the players' association. Officers were called to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pentagon City, where a woman with visible bruises reported that Olivera had assaulted her, Arlington Police spokeswoman Ashley Savage said at the time. Under baseball's domestic violence policy, paid administrative leave is limited to seven days, but management and the union can extended that if both sides agree.
