Pitchers Jim Henderson and Logan Verrett made the New York Mets' opening-day roster along with backup catcher Kevin Plawecki. Pitchers Josh Edgin and Zack Wheeler, both recovering from Tommy John surger, have been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
