Gallardo is dominating in Orioles' 6-1 win over Braves (Yahoo Sports)

Yovani Gallardo allowed one hit in five innings, facing the minimum 15 batters in the Baltimore Orioles' 6-1 win over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday. Scheduled to start Baltimore's second game of the regular season, Gallardo, who entered the game with a frightful 16.88 ERA, needed just 48 pitches to complete five innings. Jonathan Schoop hit a three-run home run off Atlanta starter Bud Norris, who pitched for the Orioles from 2013-15.
