De La Rosa's strong day lifts Rockies over Giants (Yahoo Sports)

Jorge De La Rosa had two hits, drove in two runs and pitched into the seventh inning to lead the Colorado Rockies over the San Francisco Giants 11-6 Thursday. De La Rosa (1-1) allowed four runs - three earned - struck out seven and walked one in 6 2/3 innings. Brandon Belt homered for the second straight game for the Giants.
