Panthers use franchise tag on All-Pro CB Josh Norman (Yahoo Sports)

The Carolina Panthers applied the non-exclusive franchise tag to All-Pro cornerback Josh Norman on Tuesday. The team made the announcement two hours before the NFL deadline. Carolina has until mid-July to negotiate a new deal with Norman.
