New dad Gonzalez celebrates, pitches Nationals over Astros (Yahoo Sports)

Gio Gonzalez, pitching for the first time since his fiancee gave birth to their first child, gave up one run over 4 1/3 innings as the Washington Nationals defeated the Houston Astros 5-3 Monday. Gonzalez allowed five hits, walked four and threw a wild pitch but was able to get himself out of trouble. Wilson Ramos homered and Ryan Zimmerman added a two-run double for Washington.
