Miami Marlins right fielder Giancarlo Stanton missed Monday's exhibition game against Washington because of a sore right knee and visited team physician Dr. Lee Kaplan. ''Obviously, he's a big part of our team, big part of our lineup,'' Marlins President of Baseball Operations Mike Hill said. Stanton had arthroscopic surgery to remove bone chips in his right knee in 2012.
