J.D. Martinez broke out of a spring training slump with a three-run homer to lead the Detroit Tigers past the New York Mets 9-2 on Monday. Daniel Norris and Shane Greene both pitched for the Tigers and are fighting for the final spot in the rotation. Norris started and allowed an earned run in two innings.
