49ers interview Eliot Wolf for GM opening (Yahoo Sports)

The San Francisco 49ers are interviewing Green Bay Packers director of football operations Eliot Wolf for their general manager vacancy. The Niners said that they met with Wolf on Thursday, making him the first candidate to interview for the job since Trent Baalke was fired Sunday following a 2-14 season. San Francisco is also conducting a coaching search at the same time and interviewed Buffalo Bills interim coach Anthony Lynn for that job on Wednesday.
