Bears activate Freeman, place Goldman on IR (Yahoo Sports)

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- The Chicago Bears have activated linebacker Jerrell Freeman from the exempt/commissioner's permission list and placed nose tackle Eddie Goldman on injured reserve because of an ankle injury.
