FILE - In this Oct. 9, 2016, file photo, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Josh Huff watches during warmups before an NFL football game against the Detroit Lions in Detroit. A public official says authorities stopped the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver for speeding and found a small amount of marijuana and a gun, Tuesday morning, Nov. 1, 2016. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to release information about the investigation. It wasn't known if Huff was in custody or if the gun was loaded. The lawyer for a Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver facing charges for driving with an unlicensed gun in New Jersey says that he is licensed to carry in Texas. Fortunato Perri Jr. says that Josh Huff is licensed in his home state and that the gun was not loaded when he was stopped on the Walt Whitman Bridge on Tuesday morning. New Jersey has strict gun laws and does not recognize permits issued in other states.
