Steelers acquire CB Gilbert from Browns, trim roster to 53 (Yahoo Sports)

The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired cornerback Justin Gilbert from the Cleveland Browns on Saturday, hoping the former first-round pick can help out a secondary in the midst of a youth movement. Pittsburgh sent a sixth-round pick in the 2018 draft to the Browns in exchange for Gilbert, the eighth overall pick in the 2014 draft who struggled to find a place in Cleveland. Gilbert had one interception across two seasons with the Browns.
