Matt Moore struck out 11 in seven innings, Hunter Pence hit a key two-run double and the San Francisco Giants beat Zack Greinke and the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-3 on Sunday for a series sweep. The Giants pulled within three games of NL West-leading Los Angeles and moved two games clear of St. Louis for the top spot in the NL wild-card standings. The Dodgers lost 3-0 at Miami and the Cardinals fell 2-1 at Milwaukee.
