Luis Severino brought back by Yankees as rosters expand (Yahoo Sports)

Luis Severino rejoined the New York Yankees ahead of Friday night's game against Baltimore after three minor league appearances. New York optioned him to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Aug. 14 and told him to work on his changeup. A day after active rosters expanded to 40, New York also recalled infielder Rob Refsnyder from Scranton along with right-hander Nick Goody, and right-hander Kirby Yates was recalled from rookie level Pulaski.
