Diamondbacks' Pollock to miss time, Herrmann needs surgery (Yahoo Sports)

Diamondbacks outfielder A.J. Pollock has a strained groin and could be out for the rest of the season. Pollock was hurt running out a fly ball early in Friday night's game against San Francisco, and an MRI on Saturday revealed the extent of the injury. Arizona manager Chip Hale said the injury is treatable but it could be at least a week before he can resume physical activity.
