Braves RHP Jose Ramirez drops appeal of 3-game suspension (Yahoo Sports)

Atlanta Braves reliever Jose Ramirez has dropped the appeal of his three-game suspension for throwing a pitch near the head of Miami Marlins ace Jose Fernandez. Ramirez began serving his penalty Wednesday night against the New York Mets. A hearing had been scheduled for Wednesday before Ramirez elected to drop his appeal.
