Springer sparks Astros to 8-5 win over Diamondbacks (Yahoo Sports)

George Springer finished a triple shy of the cycle and had four RBIs to spark Houston from the leadoff spot, lifting the Astros to an 8-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Springer scored twice and Luis Valbuena homered for the Astros, who had 12 hits to win for the seventh time in eight games. Lance McCullers (2-1) had control issues at times, but limited the damage in five innings.
